I chose the cube form because most people who have depression would like to stay in their room or feel like they are in a jail, trapped in a box. The diamond represents myself and the box is the barrier between others and me. You can see me, however, I cannot be physically touched on connected with. The barrier is there but it’s clear. You can’t see it but it is there, just like mental health. The diamond represents treasure, and if you embrace and support people who are having mental health issues, one day they will be shinning in your life. Different colours of diamonds in the cubes represent different levels of depression that people have. I made boxes into wearable jewellery because I think jewellery can speak for you and improve your mood and your feelings. Wearing these boxes helps people who are afraid to talk about their feelings to express themselves in another way.
